Just as we we're falling asleep, the voice from the living room wall awakened us. See the below video. This was at 9pm, mind you - a full hour past our bedtime. As we were about to leave the apartment to head down the stairs, we opened our front door to a hallway full of smoke - the FOOD BURNING fire came from our floor! Go figure. We finally went back in at 9:30. Then, as we were falling asleep for the second time. A knock at the door awakened us again (at 10:00 pm this time!) It was management, who decided to let themsleves in, with their own key, to make sure our apartment was not where the fire alarm had originated. Needless to say, we both got less than 6 hours of sleep. And thank goodness we are safe and everything is fine! AND Thank goodness we bought a house... more to follow on that. Enjoy the video below!
