Ali's Mom Jen, Our Dog Bubba, and both of us, piled in a car and drove 38 hours over the course of 4 days and 3 nights from Ali's parent's house in Gresham, OR, to our house in Pittsburgh, PA. It was fun, tiring, exciting, adventurous, and many other adjectives could be used to describe our trip. We now finally have our dog back living with us. My mom stayed a few days with us in our new house and loved it. And we love having her here, as we do with all company. Enjoy the slideshow of our drive across country. We covered the following states: Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and finally Pennsylvania. Our first night, we stayed in Bozeman, MT, then had a grueling 2nd day drive through the Rockies and the Black Hills of South Dakota. We stopped at the Battle of Little Big Horn in Southern Montana, Got pulled over my a cop for speeding in Wyoming, thank goodness mom was driving - they gave her a warning! We stopped at Mount Rushmore in Keystone, SD, then stayed our second night in Sioux Falls, SD, then another day of driving to stay our third night in Chicago, IL where we treated ourselves to Gino's Famous Chicago Pizza. Then our last day was the home stretch. Poor Bubba was such a trooper through the whole thing. Anyway, if you have questions, ask away. What did you hit? Was that a bird? Looks like a fun trip. I would love to see that many states.
